A Plant in A Healthy Environment

I was born and grew up in Indonesia. I grew up in one of the local churches in that country. Eventually, I came to the United States for college. This was one of the steps in my life that I am truly thankful to the Lord for. Before I moved to this country, my Christian life was not that strong. However, since I moved here and began to meet more with the local church I have been strengthened very much. For the first time, I became clear concerning my human spirit. Since that time, my experience of Christ has gradually been increasing. One thing that has helped me the most is the habit of having a personal time with the Lord in the morning. I believe that has been a source of supply throughout my college years.

I really praise the Lord Jesus for the work of His life in me.

Brought to God

I have received tremendous help from the ministry of Watchman Nee and Witness Lee. Through their writings concerning the Bible, I have been brought into a closer relationship with God. Several years after I was saved, I found out about my human spirit. The spirit is the key to the whole Christian life. If I want to contact the Lord Jesus today, I must do so in spirit. Christ lives in me and I can have direct contact with Him.

Another crucial point brought out in the ministry of Watchman Nee and Witness Lee is the matter of God’s purpose. God’s eternal purpose is what makes our human lives meaningful. Without knowing God’s purpose, our human life is directionless.

Because I lived in Anaheim, CA, I observed how Witness Lee lived the last four years of his life. That was a big help to me. Witness Lee lived what he taught. Thank the Lord for such a pattern.
